Major projects are undertaken each quarter and Art Club is offered after school in the spring. We understand the importance of non-verbal expression of student knowledge and engaging the right brain in the classroom. The art club focuses on teaching appreciation for art and introducing students to new ideas and ways of thinking. Ages 5+.
The Science Club is open to our students and meets for eight weeks in the fall. Hosted by a
University of Tennessee student majoring in chemical and bio-molecular engineering, the club focuses on
applying science in a hands-on learning environment by testing the bounds of flight, optics, health, physics, and more. Ages 8+.
Our Technology & Coding club meets weekly during the spring semester. University of Tennessee Computer Science students provide students with a comprehensive overview of computer applications as well as basic coding skills. Our students also participate in the popular Hour of Code, sponsored by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Ages 8+.
