The heart and essence of our Islamic teaching is contained in the Quran which Muslims believe to be the word of Allah and the key to our success in this life and the next. Traditionally, in Islamic societies, children memorized the Quran before receiving other education. This oral tradition allowed for the Quran’s preservation in the hearts of millions of Muslims for over 1400 years. Consistent with our vision of establishing a strong and well-educated community, this program will allow us to raise a generation of children who have completely memorized our Book of Guidance. We also hope this program will cause Allah’s blessings to descend upon our community and instill a love of the Quran in its students.
